Her Protector Boston Doms Book 3 edition by Jane Henry Maisy Archer Blushing Books Romance eBooks

Tony Angelico thinks he knows all about Dominants and submissives. After all, his two brothers are unapologetic Dominants with long-term submissive partners. Tony also knows that Tessa, the woman who works for him – the one girl he can't get out of his mind – is interested in the lifestyle. But he wants no part of bossing women around, let alone dominating them.
Tessa Damon craves the attention and discipline of a strong, dominant alpha male, but she's not been able to find what she's looking for. She's attracted to Tony, and can't help fantasizing about being taken over his knee for a sound spanking. She longs for the release and comfort of submitting to a man she can trust.
The night Tony decides to give it a shot, everything changes. But can Tessa be healed from her abusive past, and realize that she's worthy of love? Can they find a path that works for both of them? Will Tony finally understand that there is no one definition to cover every nuance of what being a Dominant means – not when his heart and soul know that he wants nothing more than to assume the role of Tessa's protector?
DISCLAIMER This book contains explicit themes, including the spanking of adult women and other BDSM scenarios. The book also includes a self-harm scene involving 'cutting.' If such material is likely to offend or trigger you in some way, please do not read.

The dynamic duo Maisy Archer and Jane Henry are at it again--tantalizing readers with a scrumptious dominant, strong submissive, and plenty of spanking and steam. I really enjoyed this third installment featuring the youngest of the brothers, Tony, who doesn't think he wants anything to do with the BDSM lifestyle. Then Tessa comes along and changes everything. Tessa has had a rough life and finds herself needing help. She doesn't want to ask for it, but Tony susses out the truth from her and becomes her protector and ally. The subplot involving Tessa's teenaged sister Nora, who Tessa feels responsible for, gives lots of insight into what makes Tessa tick, and I loved the hilarious banter between Tony and Nora. Tony is an all-around great guy, which makes his transformation into Tessa's Dom both sweet and hot. This was a heartwarming and sexy story that you're not going to want to miss!Product details

Her Protector Boston Doms Book 3 edition by Jane Henry Maisy Archer Blushing Books Romance eBooks Reviews
Tessa works on the ledgers for a restaurant owned by the gorgeous cook Tony. One day she finds her self homeless because someone needed her money more than her and Tony is more than happy to help. They both like each other but dont act on it. What will happen when they live together? Will things still be professional?
This book hit an emotional cord with me. Knowing someone who used to "cut" themselves, I usually steer away from stories that have this in it, but this was a refreshing and honest look without the shaming that is usually involved in self harm. I LOVED the way it was presented. Very intense in parts but so far, the best of the series!!
Tony just got out of a relationship where he was bending to his ex's will. That wasn't what either of them needed. So their relationship combust. He was attracted to Tessa but didn't think he could give her what she needed. Turn out they both were wrong. This book shows how trust and communication is necessary for a good relationship.
Tessa and Tony are supposed to show another side of power exchange, one without so many definitions or roles, but fulfilling both partners', needs. Overall, it was a good read and mostly successful in broadening ideas of what these relationships could be. But the combination of the avoidance of terms/definitions, and the emphasis on internal conflict within the characters' relationships, toned the whole, down to a quieter book than that previous two. Not bad, just different.
This third story is really done. It allows one to understand that while others who aren't in the lifestyle or dabble in it think that it is one way only, this book highlights that life is not presented or lived in a cookie cutter way. We do and live what works for us...and no one else, just like Tony and Tessa.
The third book in the series and I really loved this one. This book is a bit different for the fact that Tony is the one without any experience while Tessa knows what she wants. Tony is more of a reluctant Dom, but he finds his own way.
I am also fortunate enough to listen to the audiobook. It is read by a man and a female. The story flowed and it made it sound very natural. Having two narators really works.
Tessa works for Tony, considers him a friend, and she has totally fallen for him. Tony really cares for Tessa, and would like to pursue a relationship with Tessa. The problem is, Tessa is submissive and can't live without D/s being a part of her life. Tony's brothers are both is D/s relationships, but he can't see himself ever being someone's dominant and having a relationship like his brothers. So, it appears Tessa and Tony can't make it work... At least, that's what they tell themselves until emotions start to get so strong that they can't keep pushing each other away.
Even though they have different wants and needs, they work to find a happy medium that both of them can live with and thrive on. Then, throw in Tessa's crazy childhood catching up with her and trying to protect her younger sister Nora, and you have an interesting story about love and family working to protect each other. It really was a great story!
